Seed Quality Testing
We provide seed health testing services for a variety of vegetable and field crops, using a number of tests to evaluate for quality attributes including germination percentage (using tetrazolium chloride testing), vigor, moisture, purity (grow out), and so on.
By being proactive in evaluating the quality of your seed before planting, you give yourself the best possible chance for growing crops with record yields.
Seed Disease Testing
We use a variety of sophisticated diagnostic techniques, including pathogen selective media plates, microscopy, ELISA, real-time and reverse transcription PCR, and gene sequencing to identify bacterial, viral, and fungal pathogens that can infect seeds and have a deleterious impact on plants grown from infected seeds.
